The Beaverdam Swamp Boardwalk is twenty minutes west of downtown Huntsville, just past the Huntsville International Airport. It’s a one mile trail into the Tupelo Swamp.
It starts out as a gravel path, but quickly turns into a proper raised boardwalk. The boards can get a little slick, but otherwise it’s a very easy trail. It is entirely flat and is ADA Accessible. There are several benches along the way, and it’s mostly shaded.
I suggest traveling quietly, so that you can see as much of the wildlife as possible. And because it is a swamp, I highly suggest wearing some bug spray during warm weather.

The trail is labeled on this official map of the Wheeler Wildlife Refuge toward the top and center, just south of 565.
